A. Minimum Pitch

0.5 mm – Enables high-density, micro-spacing stamping, ideal for fine electronic components.

B. Maximum Stamping Speed

Up to 600 SPM (Strokes Per Minute) or more – Ensures high efficiency for mass production needs.

C. Precision Tolerance

±0.003 mm – Achieves ultra-precise dimensions suitable for high-end applications like automotive terminals, connectors, and micro components.

D. Hole Diameter to Material Thickness Ratio

0.85:1 – Supports stable and consistent punching of small holes in thin materials.

E. Applicable Material Thickness

0.05 mm – 2.0 mm – Compatible with ultra-thin foils to thicker structural sheets, including stainless steel, copper, aluminum, etc.

F. Material Utilization Efficiency

Zero or Near-Zero Material Waste – Optimized tooling design ensures maximum use of raw materials, reducing cost and environmental impact.

 

Progressive drawing die As a die forms a shape from a flat sheet of metal, there is a need for the material to move into the shape of the die. The flow of material is controlled through pressure
applied to the blank and lubrication applied to the die or the blank. If the form moves too easily, wrinkles will occur in the part. To correct this, more pressure or less lubrication is applied to the blank to limit the flow of material and cause the material to stretch or thin. If too much pressure is applied, the part will become too thin and break.

Drawing metal is the science of finding the correct balance between wrinkles and breaking to achieve a successful part.

 

As a general rule, 3 times of metal thickness can be used for a start point. If the part shows evidence of cracked, the tool has been machined metal safe, thus allowing for additional radius. The part specification may require a small radius under the flange that may be achieved with one draw, as opposed to several draws to size the radius.
